The Chicago Bears should draft a wide receiver early - Here is why:

I know, I know.....they have Jeffery and White coming back so why should they pick another receiver?  It's hard to believe, but this will already be Jeffery's fifth year. Yet here we are still waiting to prove he can be a number one receiver.  Don't get me wrong, he is a quality player but he could not say healthy last year when the Bears needed him to step up (or just about any other year for that matter...), and don't forget, he will be a free agent after next year. That brings us to Kevin White who we all had high hopes for last year, and we will gain this year, but has not proven himself yet.  Eddie Royal? Nice veteran but isn't getting any younger, struggled to stay healthy last year, and has only played in all 16 games twice in his career.

The Bears can trade down, pick up draft picks and still pick up one of the top three wideouts in the 2nd half of the first round, or even the second round, and use the other picks to fill the many holes they still have left.
